Etnia House of Arts opens in Venice

On May 5, Etnia House of Arts opened its doors in Venice, marking the rebirth of the Chiesa dell’Abbazia della Misericordia after more than a year of accurate restoration.

Friends, local creatives, artists, and members of the Venetian community gathered for an intimate cocktail evening — a moment to connect, celebrate, and rediscover the church as the true work of art it is. A historic space, part of Venice’s heritage, now brought back to life.

More than a restoration, this is a project created for Venice and for Venetians. This opening also marks the beginning of the artists residency program, as well as a series of cultural events and activities that the Misericordia will host as a new creative platform for the city.

Etnia House of Arts transforms a place with history into a living space for contemporary creativity.
