Anat Heifetz

Etnia House of Arts presents “And Still We Grow” by Anat Heifetz, an artwork reflecting on resilience, healing and renewal.

The piece continues the journey that began with her earlier artwork “I Pray for Peace”. This time, broken glasses become a place for new growth, as roots and bamboo emerge from traces of fracture and loss. What has been broken is not erased, but transformed into part of the healing process.

“The work speaks universally to people and communities everywhere who have experienced the trauma of war — and to the human ability to heal, rebuild, and take root again. It is a work about resilience and the choice to believe in renewal.”

The artist invites us to consider the possibility of beginning again, of finding growth even in the aftermath of loss: “Even after everything, we grow”, explains Heifetz.
