The artwork reflects on darkness as a threshold: not an absence, but a space of depth, silence and revelation. By obscuring vision, the artist invites another kind of sight to take shape, one that turns inward and allows the invisible to emerge:
“To see further, we look at the sky at night. The deepest stars appear only when the light withdraws. This pair of glasses is born from the same intuition: it does not show the world, it darkens it. By covering the sight, it opens an inner space in which what is invisible to the eye can finally emerge. Because sometimes depth is not found in front of us, but within us.”
