Etnia House of Arts presents “ENCOUNTER” by Moses Salihou, an artwork that reflects on hope, unity and the connections that bring people together across time and cultures.
“Through colourful weaving and cowrie shells, I wanted to create a work that speaks about encounters, identity and the values we share. The cowrie shells represent the past, present and future, while reminding us of their cultural and spiritual significance in my community.”
Through symbolic materials rooted in personal heritage, the artist invites us to reflect on the bonds that connect us and on the possibility of building a more united world.
